Palmer offers academic advising to students regarding a variety of issues, including scheduling, transfer of credits or assistance with studies. See the tabs below for available academic advising services on each of our campuses.

Davenport Campus

The Division of Academic Affairs provides information pertaining to college policies and procedures and transfer of course credits from other chiropractic colleges or advanced degree programs to the chiropractic curriculum. If you have questions about prerequisite courses for the D.C. program and the curricular structure of the D.C. program, please contact Kevin Paustian, D.C., Director of Student Administrative.

The Student Administrative Services Office is located on the fourth floor in the Administration Building which is at the north end of Heritage Court.

Disability Support Services

Students seeking information or reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act should contact Ann Margrave, D.C.  the Student Disability Services Coordinator. Documentation of your disability should be submitted to Dr. Margrave. Students are encouraged to self-identify for accommodations as early in the program as possible.

 

West Campus

Palmer's West Campus provides the following types of advising services, free of charge, for its students and their families.

Academic Advising

Academic advising is a faculty function. Faculty members are available to discuss their courses and other academic concerns with students on an individual basis.

International Advising

International students may obtain information about their non-immigrant status, optional practical training and other immigration concerns from the Director of Student Services, William DuMonthier, D.C. 

Disability Support Services

Students seeking information or reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act should contact the Director of Student Services, William DuMonthier, D.C. Documentation of your disability should be submitted to Dr. DuMonthier. Students are encouraged to self-identify for accommodations as early in the program as possible.

Florida Campus

During a student’s tenure at the College, occasions may arise when assistance is required regarding your studies or other areas of concern. The faculty and staff of the College are sensitive to such needs. Palmer’s Florida Campus provides the following types of advising services for students and their families.

General Advising

The Dean Academic Affairs, Don Gran, D.C., serves as class adviser while students progress through the program. Advice is available about appropriate outside resources and agencies in the Port Orange area to assist with drug and alcohol abuse and dependency, family and/or marital issues and general mental health counseling by contacting Melissa Lingo, Director of Student Services.
