Davenport Campus Only
The Clinical Teaching Assistant (CTA) Program enhances and reinforces student learning for senior-level student interns through assigned responsibilities within the patient care setting, as defined through a specific job description.
The purpose of the CTA program is twofold: 1) To provide an additional learning opportunity for senior-level students as a capstone experience to their clinical education; 2) To provide assistance to faculty clinicians, Clinic administrators and other interns in clinical and educational activities.
CTAs will be assigned a limited number of hours to work, up to but not exceeding 10 hours per week.
CTAs approved for work-study funds will be paid at the rate of $12.00 per hour. In lieu of work-study, students have an option to volunteer their time to work as a CTA.

CTAs who successfully fulfill their role will be awarded a Certificate of Merit during the Graduation Awards Convocation.
