The Department of Defense/Veterans
Affairs (DoD/VA) Chiropractic Internship Program provides senior-level
interns from all three Palmer campuses an opportunity to work with a
staff chiropractor located in a Department of Defense or Veterans
Affairs hospital. The intern gains valuable insight into how the Doctor
of Chiropractic works with health professionals of other disciplines for
the benefit of the patient. The intern will provide chiropractic care
and, depending on the location, may also rotate among other departments
in the hospital, observing procedures and interacting with medical
interns or residents.
