To qualify as an eligible student for all of the federal and state programs, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen;
- Be registered with Selective Service or enlisted in the armed forces, if you are a man born after 1960;
- Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment on a fulltime basis;
- Be working toward a degree;
- Be making satisfactory academic progress as defined by the institution;
- Not be in default on any loan or owe a refund on any grant made
under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 at this or any other
institution; and
- Qualify for aid based on federally required needs analysis formula.
