Position Title: Research Program Manager

Description of Responsibilities: The Research Program Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of internal college and externally-funded projects and programs in the areas of research and health policy. The individual in this role will assist in the development of research-related written materials, as well as in the writing and submission of research grant applications.

Position Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree in public health, health services research, or related field preferred; 5 years experience in program management in a health-related research environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires excellent written communication skills; background in science writing preferred.

Position Title: Assistant Director of Research

Description of Responsibilities: The Assistant Director is responsible for the daily operations of the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research, implementing the PCCR strategic plan, developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing the budget including overall responsibility for pre and post award grants management activities, and supervising key support staff. The individual in this position will provide overall financial administration of the PCCR, Davenport Campus including developing, managing, evaluating, and implementing budgetary policies, procedures and protocols; and develop, implement and maintain oversight of research compliance.

Position Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree preferred; strong accounting background required; five years of administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience required. Experience in grants administration preferred.

Demonstrated interest in promoting collaboration, outreach initiatives, and use of technology to improve access; excellent communication and organizational skills.

Description of Responsibilities: Palmer Florida is currently accepting applications for a full-time classroom faculty position. The specific course assignments will include the chiropractic sciences with an emphasis in radiology instruction.

Position Qualifications Required: Qualified applicants must possess a first professional degree (DC degree from a CCE recognized institution preferred) with a Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited by a nationally recognized agency, or its foreign equivalent; minimum of 5 years teaching and/or practice experience. A diplomate in Chiropractic Radiology is preferred. Computer literacy with email and Microsoft Office products is required.
