The Laboratory Animal Resource Core provides vital expertise for the Center for Chiropractic Research through general animal care services related to basic science research projects. This core operates under the guidance of the Palmer Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee. This core maintains an animal facility under the highest standard of animal care. Licensed and inspected by the United States Department of Agriculture and the Iowa Department of Agriculture, the Laboratory Animal Resource Core assures that the care and use of animals is scientifically, technically and humanely appropriate.
