Instructions for Application (D.C. Program)

General Information

  • Applications will not be accepted later than 30 days prior to the beginning of the trimester.
  • All correspondence is sent to your "present" address. Please notify the Admissions Department about any changes immediately.
  • The "Home State" information requested will appear in your graduation program.

When completed, your application packet will include:

  • Autobiographical essay
    Two pages maximum, typed and double-spaced (include your name and page number on each page of the essay). The Autobiography should explain why you are choosing a career in chiropractic and why you want to get your Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer.
  • Official transcripts received directly from all post-secondary institutions
  • Copy of high school diploma or official copy of high school transcripts
  • A $50 non-refundable application processing fee

    *Two letters of recommendation on letterhead are recommended, but not required:

    1. Doctor of Chiropractic (may not include immediate family)
    2. Faculty from a post-secondary class you have attended

Special Information for those Applying Electronically

As well as filling out the application form online, you may send your essay electronically. If you choose to do this, we suggest you type your essay on a word processor and cut-and-paste it into your mail utility. Your essay must be in plain text rather than in any specific word processor format, so do not send your essay as an attachment. Include your name at the top of the message. Address your mail to pccf_admiss@palmer.edu.

You may also follow the process above to send any extra information necessary to complete your form, including criminal conduct information and college or university dismissal information

Your Letters of Recommendation may not be sent electronically, but you may print out the form to give to your referents.
