Accreditation/Licensure
 

The Doctor of Chiropractic Degree Program of Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE), 8049 North 85th Way, Scottsdale, AZ 85258-4321. Tel: (480) 443-8877. The CCE is the agency to which complaints about the compliance of the program with the CCE Standards should be addressed.

Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida is licensed by the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education. Information Disclosure List

Pursuant to 34 CFR Part 668—Student Assistance General Provisions (United States Department of Education), the following information is available to current students and employees, prospective students, potential employees and the general public.

  1. 668.42 Financial assistance information is available through the Office of Financial Planning.
  2. 668.43 Institutional information may be found in the PCCF Catalog and at the PCCF Web site.
  3. 668.45 Information on completion or graduation rates is available through the Office of the Registrar.
  4. 668.46 Institutional security policies and crime statistics are available through the Office of Student Services, in the Guide to Campus Safety and Substance Abuse Awareness.
  5. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) information is available in the Financial Aid Handbook and Catalog.

A notice of the availability of this information is distributed annually to enrolled students pursuant to 34CFR99.7, which sets forth the notification requirements of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.

The school shall include in the application package sent to each prospective student a written disclosure, with prior approval by the Board (in Florida), of the current status of the program regarding compliance with the requirements of the professional licensing body. The disclosure shall be signed and dated by each student prior to the collection of any tuition.

Credits and degrees earned from PCCF do not automatically qualify the holder to participate in professional licensing to practice certain professions in Florida. Persons interested in practicing a regulated profession in Florida should contact the appropriate state regulatory agency in the field of their interest.
