Advising

During students’ tenure at the College, occasions may arise when assistance is required regarding their studies or other areas of concern. The faculty and staff of the College are sensitive to such needs. Palmer Florida provides the following types of advising services for PCCF students and their families.

Academic Advising

Academic advising is a faculty function. Faculty members are available to discuss their courses and other academic concerns with students on an individual basis.

General Advising

The Academic Dean and the Director of Student Affairs serve as class advisers as students progress through the program. Advice is also available about appropriate outside resources and agencies in the area to assist with drug and alcohol abuse and dependency, dealing with family and/or marital pressures, etc.
