Index to Chiropractic Literature
The Chiropractic Libraries Consortium librarians have cooperatively indexed, edited and produced Index to Chiropractic Literature (ICL) since 1980.  The database currently covers the 1985-present chiropractic journal literature. There is no charge for searching ICL. Photocopies of journal articles may be requested for a fee from PHSL's Document Delivery service.  

PubMed

PubMed is the search engine for
the National Library of Medicine's at the National Institutes of Health database which provides access to over 11 million health sciences journal citations in MEDLINE, PreMEDLINE and other related databases.

A convenient direct link to the National Library of Medicine's web-based PubMed Online Training program. 

MEDLINEplus
"MEDLINEplus is an up-to-date quality health care information clearinghouse from the world’s largest medical library, the National Library of Medicine at the National Institutes of Health."

NLM Gateway
"The NLM Gateway is a Web-based system that lets users search simultaneously in multiple retrieval systems at the U. S. National Library of Medicine (NLM).

NCCAM WEB SITE
"The National Center for Complementary & Alternative Medicine is an Internet site which includes publications, information for researchers, and links to other CAM-related resources with a searchable interface."

ClinicalTrials.gov
"ClinicalTrials.gov has been developed by the U.S. National Institutes of Health through its National Library of Medicine, to provide patients, family members and members of the public current information about clinical research studies."

BIOETHICSLINE: Bioethics Literature Online
"BIOETHICSLINE is a unique interdisciplinary source of references to information on the ethical, legal, and public policy aspects of health care, the professional patient relationship, and biomedical research."

DIRLINE: Directory of Health Organizations 
"DIRLINE (Directory of Information Resources Online) is the National Library of Medicine's online database containing location and descriptive information about a wide variety of information resources including organizations, research resources, projects, and databases concerned with health and biomedicine."

ERIC                                            Gateway to Educational Materials
"ERIC, the Educational Resources Information Center, is a federally funded national information system that provides, through its 16 subject-specific clearinghouses, associated adjunct clearinghouses, and support components, a variety of services and products on a broad range of education-related issues." 

HISTLINE: History of Medicine Online 
"The HISTLINE database is an index to the secondary literature dealing with the history of medicine and related fields that has been published since 1965."

HSRProj: Health Services Projects in Progress  
"HSRProj, a database providing access to ongoing grants and contracts in health services research... HSRProj contains descriptions of research in progress funded by federal and private grants and contracts for use by policy makers, managers, clinicians and other decision makers."

POPLINE: Population Information Online
"POPLINE is the world's largest bibliographic database on population, family planning, and related health issues."

SPACELINE: Space Life Sciences  
"SPACELINE is a cooperative venture of NLM and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Its purpose is to improve the accessibility of the growing body of space life sciences research."

TOXNET: Toxicology Data Network 
TOXNET is a key cluster of databases on toxicology, hazardous chemicals, and related areas. Most anything regarding the toxicity of materials and chemicals can be traced through TOXNET. TOXNET is sponsored by the National Library of Medicine. 

AGRICOLA
"
AGRICOLA (AGRICultural OnLine Access) is a bibliographic database of citations to the agricultural literature created by the National Agricultural Library and its cooperators. Production of these records in electronic form began in 1970, but the database covers materials in all formats, including printed works from the 15th century."
