Reference Services

Library faculty are available to assist patrons with: using and finding Palmer Health Sciences Library electronic and print resources, recommending databases, and evaluating other information resources. The primary purpose of the Reference Department is to guide students, faculty, staff, and researches to resources that accelerate the process of identifying and retrieving information for study, research, or personal use.

Literature Searches

A fee-based literature search service is available for Palmer Alumni and other remote users.  Please contact PFL's Librarian Eileen Burg for current literature search fee information.  

Literature searches can be performed on topics of chiropractic and related health disciplines from a variety of sources. PFL Librarian may assist in the subjects of chiropractic and related medical fields, such as neurology, orthopedics, osteopathy, and physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Ready Reference Resources

Ready Reference Resources available electronically are meant to supplement and support the books in the Reference section of PFL. This online reference section has links almanacs, dictionaries, encyclopedias, newspapers, weather, writing style manuals, and other general ready reference resources.
