Registrar

The office of the Registrar maintains all academic records of current students and Palmer West alumni. Each student or graduate is furnished one transcript free of charge. Additional transcripts are furnished at $5 each. The office of the Registrar also maintains information on all state and national board examinations and assists with the processing of board applications. Complimentary notary service up through the application deadline is available at several locations on campus.

Challenge By Examination

Students who have taken a course in their academic career similar in quality and hours to a course required by Palmer College West may wish to challenge the course by examination. Forms for petition to challenge a course are available in the Registrar's Office and must be submitted to the Registrar no later than the end of the seventh week of the quarter prior to the quarter in which the student is scheduled to take the course. A non-refundable fee of $25 for each course being challenged is payable to the Business Office prior to submission of each petition.

Advanced Standing

Advanced standing may be granted to a student who has completed a course that is required by Palmer College of Chiropractic West while attending another institution within the last five years. Graduate professional credits earned through an accredited graduate, medical, or osteopathic college or CCE-member college may be used for advanced standing. Each course will be individually evaluated and credit will be granted only when approved by the College.  Requests for advanced standing should be directed to the Director of Academic Administration.
