About the Learning Resource Center

The caliber of a college's library is an important indicator of its intellectual strength. Palmer College West's library is a dynamic, 14,000- square-foot learning center that has large windows and picturesque views of the South Bay area and nearby mountain ranges, and occupies nearly 15 percent of the campus. The Library houses 9,650 books and more than 12,000 periodicals. Its assets include nearly 1,000 video and audio tapes on chiropractic history, practice management, and patient care procedures as well as a journal center that subscribes to more than 300 magazines, trade publications, and chiropractic association newsletters from around the world. The newly installed on-line patron computer station provides Library visitors immediate status regarding the availability of a journal, book or video.
