Neuromusculoskeletal Diagnosis II—5 credits
Prerequisites: ANAT206, DIAG707, PATH408
Prerequisites for: CLIN805, CLIN806
Co-requisite with: TECH606
The course covers physical diagnostic procedures specific to the neuromusculoskeletal system. It focuses on the trunk and lower extremities from a clinical perspective. It also accentuates the development of professional demeanor, clinical judgment, patient management, and follow-up.

Visceral Disorders and Laboratory Interpretation—5 credits
Prerequisites: DIAG708
Prerequisite for: CLIN816, CLIN820
The course emphasizes ordering and interpreting laboratory studies in light of other clinical data. Additionally, it correlates the subluxation complex with attendant pathophysiologic processes and addresses prudent patient management options.

The course covers physical diagnostic procedures specific to the neuromusculoskeletal system. It focuses on the head, neck and upper extremities from a clinical perspective. It accentuates the development of professional demeanor, clinical judgment, patient management and follow-up.

Physical Diagnosis—10 credits

The course introduces and cultivates the ability to perform and correlate case history and physical diagnostic procedures to the viscera as part of a workup to arrive at a clinical diagnosis, management plan and follow-up. It also emphasizes the development of a professional demeanor.

Geriatrics—2 credits
Prerequisites: DIAG708
The course addresses health concerns of the geriatric patient, with emphasis on the changes associated with aging, strategies to enhance that experience, specific chiropractic related care and other resources that might benefit aging or aged persons.

DIAG713 72
Obstetrics and Pediatrics—5 credits
Prerequisites: All Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology Courses, DIAG708
Prerequisite for: DIAG717
Co-requisite with: CLIN816
The course covers normal physiologic changes of both the pregnant and pediatric patient, as well as clinical manifestations of aberrant physiology and disorders. Clinical judgment, patient management, chiropractic care and follow-up of these patients are addressed.

Clinical Psychology—2 credits
Prerequisites: None
Prerequisite for: CLIN815
The course reviews the definition of mental illness, assessment and treatment or referral protocol. Management of stress, communication and the doctor/patient relationship are also covered. Chiropractic care in mental health is emphasized.

DIAG717 82
Gender Disorders—4 credits
Prerequisites: DIAG708, DIAG713
This course emphasizes the clinical and chiropractic management of the female patient. Discussion will include normal physiological changes from menarche through menopause, as well as a number of gynecological and obstetrical disorders. An overview of male anatomy and physiology and male-specific health concerns will be addressed.
This course includes 20 gynecologic/proctologic examinations performed on mannequins.

Physiotherapy Part I—4 credits
Prerequisite: ANAT206
Prerequisite for: CLIN816
This course covers clinical procedures, clinical indications and contra indications. Emphasis is placed upon practical work.

REHB852 72
Physiotherapy Part II—4 credits
Prerequisite: ANAT206
Prerequisite for: CLIN816
A thorough exposure to the indication and contraindiction of the use of physical therapy, as well as the safety precautions of equipment operation is covered.
