Neuroanatomy II presents the peripheral nervous system and its role in maintaining the health and integrity of the human body. The class focuses on the interference with normal neurological function and its relation to dysfunction or disease. The structures involved with vision, hearing, balance, taste, smell and touch are also studied.

ANAT208 51
Embryology—5 credits
Prerequisites: None
Prerequisite for: ANAT206
Normal morphogenesis of the organ systems in the human body and the development of the neural, muscular and skeletal systems, including human genetics and embryonic mechanisms basic to teratogenesis, are studied.

ANAT210 51
Spinal Anatomy I—2 credits
Prerequisites: None
Prerequisite for: ANAT204, ANAT205, ANAT206, ANAT211, TECH 602
This course is an introduction to the spinal column, focusing on the specific osteology of each region of the spine. Background material on the integumentary system, general skeletal anatomy and arthrology will also be presented.
