Undergraduate Studies

Undergraduate Studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic offers two degree programs:

Purpose

Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Division of Undergraduate Studies is committed to preparing lifelong learners for careers in health care professions. This is accomplished by providing curricula in the allied health professions and undergraduate liberal arts education.

Degrees and Certification

Palmer’s Division of Undergraduate Studies offers curricula leading to the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in General Science degree, the Associate of Science in Chiropractic Technology (A.S.C.T.) degree and American Chiropractic Registry of Radiological Technology (A.C.R.R.T.) certification. The program offers certification as a Chiropractic Office Assistant (C.O.A.) and Chiropractic Clinical Assistant (C.C.A.).

Undergraduate Council

The Undergraduate Council is a standing committee that meets on a regular basis to review and evaluate applications for the A.S.C.T. and B.S. degrees and certify and recommend candidates for the degrees. The Council also evaluates curricula for both programs.

Payment of Accounts

The College and its various divisions and departments reserve the right to modify or change requirements, rules, tuition and fees. Such regulations shall go into force without notice whenever it is determined appropriate by the College. Palmer College of Chiropractic has established all tuition, fees and bookkeeping procedures on an academic-term basis. Tuition, fees and other charges are due and payable on the tenth day of classes.

Withdrawal from the College

A student withdrawing from the College must do four things:

  1. Notify the Registrar in writing;
  2. Notify the Office of Financial Planning in writing (if receiving assistance through that office);
  3. Notify the instructors orally or in writing;
  4. Return College identification card and post office key to the Student Services Office. If the student fails to comply with these instructions, the student may be charged with a Grade 8 (No Credit) for all current courses.
