The Office of Professional Opportunities assists graduating students and recent graduates in establishing their practices or in finding suitable associateships, partnerships or externships. The Office also serves established chiropractors in the sale of their practices and in finding qualified associates or externs and maintains used equipment listings. Cities and towns in need of a chiropractor often contact the Office directly. Chiropractors and students can find this information on the Palmer Professional Opportunities Web site at http://ads.palmer.edu.

Professional Opportunities utilizes the vast network of alumni as a support group to assist the new generation of chiropractors in developing successful practices. Sample resumes and licensure information, chamber of commerce directories and other information are available. The David D. Palmer Health Sciences Library maintains an extensive collection of material on career planning and professional development. In addition, Palmer alumni are on campus frequently and take active roles in providing insights to students through the adopt-a-class program and the alumni philosophy forum.
