Mission

The Palmer Chiropractic Clinics, while committed to dual missions of patient care and clinical education, focus on the quality of the patient's experience and the community's need for a participatory model of health care. Grounded in the Palmer Tenets and the University System Mission, clinical practices and educational models actualize Palmer Chiropractic's unique health care philosophy, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, excellence in standards and innovative leadership in the delivery of patient care and student development. The vertebral subluxation complex is the focal point of all patient care, embodied in a clinical model that guides our delivery of the best possible health services through the interrelated domains of condition-based care, health enhancement, and lifelong wellness.

By developing a nurturing environment and scholarly academic context, our dedicated professional team works toward the transformation of student and public understanding of chiropractic as a distinct health care paradigm that serves an integral role in the healthcare of society today. The Palmer Clinics engage in academic activities and clinical research in order to fortify chiropractic foundations, while expanding the knowledge bases of the chiropractic disciplines of science, philosophy and art.

The Palmer Chiropractic Clinics, in collaboration with all Palmer entities, are committed to graduating chiropractors as successful practitioners and lifelong learners, with highly developed interpersonal skills and an appreciation of the public's imperative for ethical and empowering relationship-based chiropractic practice. By demonstrating their clinical competence, compassionate attitudes, and service-oriented behaviors, Palmer graduates commit their abilities, energies and vision toward shaping the future direction of the chiropractic profession.

Goals

  • To continuously strive for excellence in patient care.
  • To constantly cultivate quality in student education.
  • To vigorously promote a positive community image.
  • To advance the profession through clinical research.

Vision

Achieving the foregoing goals will result in patient care and chiropractic education that are of exceptional quality and competitive in the health care marketplace. The environment will be a positive one, inhabited by a community of scholars, where expertise and technology are applied appropriately to patient care, outcome measurements are in place for research and a high level of patient, student, faculty and staff satisfaction prevails.
