What is document delivery and how much does it cost?

Document Delivery is available only to off-campus, Palmer alumni for articles from journals held at any of the three Palmer Health Sciences Libraries (Davenport, Florida, and West). The cost of service is $12 per article plus royalty fees. Requests may be placed by phone (563) 884-5641, fax (563) 884-5897, E-mail, or mail. Typically requests are mailed the next working day, if a rush delivery is necessary, item may be faxed for an additional charge of $1.00 per page.

What are reference services?

The primary purpose of the Reference Department is to guide students, faculty, staff, and researchers to resources that accelerate the process of identifying and retrieving information for study, research, or personal use.

Can all Palmer Alumni check out items?

Palmer alumni living within a 30- mile driving radius of Palmer Health Sciences Library are eligible to check-out materials with appropriate identification.

• Checkout length is 2 weeks for books; 2 days for audio-visual items
• 1 renewal per item is allowed
