AGRICOLA (AGRICultural OnLine Access) is a bibliographic database of citations to the agricultural literature created by the National Agricultural Library... The records describe publications and resources encompassing all aspects of agriculture and allied disciplines.

Alt-HealthWatch (EBSCOhost)
This database focuses on the many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated approaches to health care and wellness.

Alternative Press Index (OCLC)
Alternative Press Index "indexes journals covering cultural, economic, political & social change. Provides in-depth coverage in the humanities and social sciences."

Alternative Press Index Archive (OCLC)
Index of journals (1969-1990) covering cultural, economic, political & social change.

AMED (EBSCOhost)
This database contains citations and abstracts from over 400 biomedical journals, relevant articles from books, newspapers, conference proceedings and several other document types.

ArticleFirst (OCLC)
An OCLC generated index from the Tables of Contents from nearly 12,500 journals in science, technology, medicine, social science, business, the humanities and popular culture.

Business Source Elite (EBSCOhost)
Provides full text for over 960 journals covering business, management, economics, finance, banking, accounting, and much more.

CAM - Citation Index
The CAM Citation Subset is available only through PubMed.

CINAHL (EBSCOhost)
Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, CINAHL provides indexing for over 950 nursing, allied health and health sciences journals. The database indexes a number of chiropractic journals.

ClasePeriodica (OCLC)
OCLC index of Latin America journals in the sciences and humanities.

Clinical Pharmacology (EBSCOhost)
Clinical Pharmacology provides access up-to-date, concise and clinically-relevant drug monographs for all U.S. prescription drugs, hard-to-find herbal and nutritional supplements, over-the-counter products and new and investigational drugs.

ClinicalTrials.gov
ClinicalTrials.gov has been developed by the U.S. National Institutes of Health through its National Library of Medicine, to provide patients, family members and members of the public current information about clinical research studies.

Cochrane Library (Wiley InterScience)
The Cochrane Library consists of a regularly updated collection of evidence-based medicine databases.

DIRLINE - Directory of Health Organizations 
Directory of Information Resources Online is the National Library of Medicine's online database containing location and descriptive information about a wide variety of information resources including organizations, research resources, projects, and databases concerned with health and biomedicine.

Ebooks (OCLC)
OCLC catalog of online electronic books available through libraries worldwide.

EBSCOhost
EBSCOhost provides integrated web access to ten databases selected by PHSL, many with full-text resources.

ECO (OCLC)
An OCLC collection of scholarly journals.

ERIC
ERIC, the Educational Resources Information Center, is a federally-funded national information system that provides, through its 16 subject-specific clearinghouses, associated adjunct clearinghouses, and support components, a variety of services and products on a broad range of education-related issues.

ERIC (EBSCOhost) and (OCLC)
Another access point for the ERIC database using OCLC FirstSearch protocols.
 

Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia (EBSCOhost)
This database provides over 25,000 encyclopedic entries covering a variety of subject areas.

HSRProj: Health Services Projects in Progress

ICL - Index to Chiropractic Literature
ICL is the only exclusively chiropractic journal literature index in publication. The database currently covers the 1985-present chiropractic journal literature.

The LWW Total Access Collection is a complete collection of over 200 journals that cater to your intensive medical information needs all of which are full-text.

MAS Ultra - School Edition (EBSCOhost)
"This database is designed specifically for high school libraries, and contains full text for more than 490 popular, high school magazines."

MasterFILE Premier (EBSCOhost)
Provides full-text for 1,860 periodicals covering nearly all subjects including general reference, business, health, and much more.

MD-Consult
A database that provides clinically orientated information from 71 journals, 51 medical reference books, practice guidelines, patient handouts, and drug information.

MediaRevDigest (OCLC)
Reviews of educational media and entertainment resources.

Medline (PubMed) and (OCLC)
PubMed is the search engine for the National Library of Medicine's at the National Institutes of Health database which provides access to over 11 million health sciences journal citations in MEDLINE, PreMEDLINE and other related databases.

NLM Gateway - National Library of Medicine Gateway
The NLM Gateway is a Web-based system that lets users search simultaneously in multiple retrieval systems at the U. S. National Library of Medicine (NLM).

Newspaper Source (EBSCOhost)
Provides full text for 159 regional U.S. newspapers, eighteen international newspapers, six newswires, and nine newspaper columns, The Christian Science Monitor, and The Los Angeles Times for a total of 194 full- text newspapers and other sources.

OCLC FirstSearch Service
OCLC's FirstSearch is an electronic information service which can be accessed both from on-campus and off-campus via PHSL's webpage. PHSL's access is through a grant from the State Library of Iowa and is therefore intended for use by Iowa residents only.

OSTMED
Free access to bibliographic index for osteopathic literature from 1800s-2003.

PAISArchive (OCLC)
Retrospective database chronicling global public policy and social issues.

PapersFirst (OCLC)
Provides access to individual papers presented at conferences world wide as collected by the British Library Document Supply Centre.

POPLINE: Population Information Online
POPLINE is the world's largest bibliographic database on population, family planning, and related health issues.

Pre-CINAHL(EBSCOhost)
A companion database to CINAHL, Pre-CINAHL is intended to provide current awareness of new journal articles, and includes a rotating file of limited bibliographic information (no subject searching).

ProceedingsFirst (OCLC)
Provides tables of contents for papers presented at conferences worldwide as collected by the British Library Document Supply Centre.

Professional Development Collection (EBSCOhost)
"This is the most comprehensive and most valuable collection of full-text education journals in the world. Professional Development Collection includes full text for nearly 480 high quality education journals.

TOXNET - Toxicology Data Network
is a key cluster of databases on toxicology, hazardous chemicals, and related areas. TOXNET is sponsored by the National Library of Medicine.

Ulrich's Periodical Directory Online
A bibliographic database providing detailed, comprehensive, and authoritative information on serials published throughout the world.

Vocational and Career Collection (EBSCOhost)
This collection provides full-text coverage for 400 trade and industry-related periodicals.

Wiley InterScience features over 1,000 journals, major reference works, online books, Current Protocols laboratory manuals, and databases as well as a suite of professional and management resources.

Wilson Select Plus (OCLC)
A database of approximately 1,300 periodicals indexed by the Wilson family of indexes.

World Almanac (OCLC)
A full- text database of the Almanac family of publications including: World Almanac and Book of Facts, World Almanac of the United States.

WorldCat (OCLC)
The world's most comprehensive bibliography with more than 44 million records representing 44 languages. The database also identifies the library that owns the material for which you are searching.
