Library faculty are available to assist patrons with: using and finding Palmer Health Sciences Library electronic and print resources, recommending databases, and evaluating other information resources.

The primary purpose of the Reference Department is to guide students, faculty, staff, and researches to resources that accelerate the process of identifying and retrieving information for study, research, or personal use.

The Reference Desk is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

The Reference Desk is located directly across from the third floor entrance of the Library.

Reference Sources

Reference Sources available electronically are meant to supplement and support the books in the Reference section of Palmer Health Sciences Library. This online reference section has links dictionaries, directories encyclopedias, writing style manuals, and other health science or medical reference sources.
