Lisa Mestad, D.C.

Lisa Mestad, D.C. was born and raised in a small town in Northeast Iowa.  She did her undergraduate studies at the University of Northern Iowa.  Dr. Mestad received Chiropractic care after an auto accident in college and realized the impact it had on her life.  This gave her the passion to pursue Chiropractic so that she would be able to help other people experience the benefits of Chiropractic Care.  She then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in October 2002.

While at Palmer, Dr. Mestad was a member of PSAF and community volunteer organizations, and tutored students at J. B. Young Junior High School in Davenport.  In her last year at Palmer, she had the privilege to take a Clinic Abroad Trip to Nepal.

Dr. Mestad practiced in Orion, Illinois before deciding to become an Academic Counselor.  As an Academic Counselor she helps students with alternate schedules, time management, and developing study strategies for specific courses.  She is also the Coordinator of P.A.S.S. Program and Center of Student Learning and Development (CSLD).  In her spare time she has a salt water aquarium and enjoys raising salt water fish.  Dr. Mestad currently resides with her husband Travis and their daughter Madison in Davenport.
