Glenda Wiese, M.A., Ph.D.,  is a professor at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where she has worked for 24 years, mostly in the archives and special collections division of the library. Dr. Wiese has been active with the Association for the History of Chiropractic (AHC), serving as executive director, secretary, and as a member of its board of directors. She also served on the Chiropractic Centennial Foundation's Board, representing the AHC.

Dr. Wiese received a Ph.D. in Education and an M.A. in Library and Information Science from the University of Iowa, Iowa City,  and her B.A. in History from Marycrest College in Davenport, Iowa.

She has worked and written extensively in the history arena, publishing numerous papers and contributing several chapters to books. She co-edited "Chiropractic: An Illustrated History" and currently serves on the editorial board of the Chiropractic Journal of Australia.

Dr. Wiese was named Faculty of the Year at Palmer College in 1986 and 1995, and received the Murray Gottlieb Award for an unpublished essay on the history of medicine from the Medical Library Association in 1993.
