    Roger Hynes, D.C., D.Ph.C.S., F.I.C.A., associate professor of Technique History for Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Davenport Campus, was elected president of the Association for the History of Chiropractic. Senior Director for Palmer History Alana Callender, Ed.D., was appointed as executive director of the AHC.

     Back painYou may have noticed recent media coverage (July 30 NBC Today Show, NBC Nightly News and National Public Radio) on the topic of back pain. The stories cited the results of a July 29 JAMA Internal Medicine article, and although they were generally favorable to conservative approaches to managing back pain, they didn’t refer to chiropractic specifically.
