The Mayor's Fall Folk Festival, promoted
by the Hilltop Campus Village, will be held in the open area on 15th
Street, between Harrison and Main streets from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday,
Oct. 16. Admission is FREE. Local residents, college students,
businesses and the public are invited. The event is being held to create
awareness of the variety of businesses and services that are available
in the area.
Food and beverage
vendors will be on hand, along with a line-up of musical acts, including
Ellis Kell, singers from the Third Mission Baptist Church, Barley
House, and The Recliners.
