Get on the chiropractic bus for CCA
Legislative Conference 2011, on Tuesday, May 10! West Campus students
are invited to join chiropractic students and doctors from throughout
California for this exciting—and important––all-day event at the state
capitol in Sacramento. This is a great opportunity for the collective
chiropractic voice to be heard, as you’ll meet with state legislators to
discuss key legislative issues, and the importance of ensuring
chiropractic’s place in health care reform.
Registration
(until May 3) for student CCA members is $15, and $35 for non-members
(who will become CCA members, with their Legislative Con registration).
After May 3, registration for current SCCA members increases to $35. Bus
transportation will be provided to and from Sacramento; the bus will
depart at 7:15 a.m., and leave Sacramento at 4:30 p.m. (approx.).
In
addition to the West students, the bus will also transport Santa Clara
County CCA district doctors — which in addition to prepping for
afternoon appointments with your state legislators also provides some
valuable networking opportunities. CCA Legislative Day registration
forms are available from the West Student CCA bulletin board, the
Student Services office, and from campus brochure racks. You can also
download a copy of the registration form: www.calchiro.org/documents.
