The West Campus Sports Council will hosts its annual Biofreeze Golf
Tournament fundraiser on Saturday, July 23, at the Coyote Creek Golf
Club, located in nearby Morgan Hill, which is the only Jack Nicklaus
Signature Course in the Bay Area that is open to the public in the Bay
Area.
The
day-long event also includes a post-tournament banquet, featuring guest
speaker "Flex" Wheeler, a multi-champion bodybuilder, also known as
"The Sultan of Symmetry."
Tournament format is shotgun-scramble,
with four players per team. Tee-time is noon; the banquet begins at 6
p.m. Players should arrive by 11 a.m. Registration for doctors and
guests is $165 (includes golf and banquet); the fee for students is $90.
For individuals planning to attend only the banquet, the fee is $40.
Registration deadline is July 16.
Prizes will be awarded to the
top team, as well as various individual categories. All players will be
entered into a drawing for prizes, following the golf portion of the
program.
Doctors who wish to participate should send their
registration fees (and a list with the names of other players, if
signing up as a foursome) to: Michael Braccio, Sports Council On-Campus
Events Coordinator, 60 Descanso Drive, Apt. #1309, San Jose, CA 95134.
Please make sure to provide contact information (email; phone; etc.). If
