Dr. Meeker addresses Santa Clara County CCA District on chiropractic unity
Bill Meeker, D.C., M.P.H., president of Palmer College’s San Jose Campus, and several members of the San Jose Campus student chapter of the American Chiropractic Association (SACA) attended the 2014 National Chiropractic Legislative Conference (NCLC), Feb. 26 – March 2, in Washington, D.C. Dr. Meeker and San Jose Campus SACA delegates joined other doctors and SACA delegates from other chiropractic colleges for the annual event that encompasses legislative briefings, advocacy, leadership development sessions, and continuing education programming.
During their visit to Capitol Hill, Dr. Meeker and several San Jose Campus SACA members had the opportunity to meet with Zoe Lofgren, U.S. Representative for California's 19th congressional district (based in San Jose) since 1995. Following his participation in the Winter Quarter commencement on March 13, Dr. Meeker was one of the featured speakers at a special program hosted that evening by the Santa Clara County District of the California Chiropractic Association (CCA) at BJ’s Brewhouse in Cupertino. Dr. Meeker addressed several dozen doctors and students on the subject of “Identity, Integration, Research and Unity.”
