West Campus Honors Anniversary Employees at 2010 Holiday Luncheon

Palmer College’s West Campus celebrated the
season and honored employees celebrating service anniversaries at a special
holiday luncheon on Monday, Dec. 13, at David’s Restaurant in Santa Clara.
West Campus President
Dr. Bill Meeker addressed the group of faculty, staff and administrators at the
beginning the event, acknowledging institutional achievements of the past year,
and thanking them for their collective dedication to advancing the West Campus,
and Palmer College.
Dr. Meeker also discussed the new brand marker for
Palmer College (“The Trusted Leader in Chiropractic Education”), and the group
had an opportunity to see copies of the various marketing materials that have
been produced to support the new “Trusted Leader” campaign.
In addition to
celebrating achievements of the past year, the luncheon also provided an
opportunity to present service awards to West Campus faculty and staff
celebrating employment anniversaries. Honorees included:
25 Years
• Dr. Thomas Souza (Dean of Academic Affairs)
20 Years
• Dr. Gary de Wet (Faculty)
15 Years
• Dr. Gregory Snow (Clinics)
• Wendy Kubow (Library
10 Years
• Dr. Makani Lew (Faculty)
“It is always a pleasure
at our annual holiday celebration to also celebrate and recognize our employees
for their years of dedicated service,” said Dr. Meeker.
“Congratulations to Dr.
Tom Souza, Dr. Gary de Wet, Dr. Greg Snow, Wendy Kubow and Dr. Makani Lew. They
represent over 85 years of experience under the Palmer West Campus banner. We
met our goals for last year in every way, and we all look forward to a
productive 2011.”
