Saturday Campus Visit draws 120 to Davenport Campus
11/22/2010 (Archived)
On Nov. 6, prospective students and their guests participated in a two-hour
Interactive Classroom featuring faculty from the Palmer Academic Health Center’s
Chiropractic Rehabilitation and Sports Injury and Radiology departments, the
Technique Department, the Diagnosis Department and the Anatomy Laboratories. The
visitors listened to Faculty Clinician Casey Crisp, D.C., and Interim Vice
President for Academic Affairs Dan Weinert, D.C., M.S., during their meals, and
talked with current students from the Campus Guides, Student Council and Vogt
Society organizations.
An afternoon Expo featured representatives from the
Palmer Center for Business Development, Clinic Abroad Program, Palmer Center for
Chiropractic Research, and the Palmer Undergraduate Programs Office. In addition
to meetings with Financial Planning and Admissions representatives, prospective
students and guests attended a special evening event at the Putnam Museum’s
Theater Balcony. By the end of the weekend, ten students had submitted their
applications to the D.C. program. Kudos to the Admissions Department staff and
all others involved in this highly successful program.
