5/18/2011 (Archived)
At a special reception on Tuesday, May 17, the Davenport Campus community
recognized 13 of its own who are retiring from Palmer College this year. A crowd
of nearly 150 gathered in the Cafeteria to share stories and words of gratitude
for these employees who have given so many years of dedicated service to
Palmer.
“On behalf of Palmer College I’d like to recognize and
thank those folks who are retiring this year,” said Chancellor Dennis Marchiori,
D.C., Ph.D. “We have an outstanding group of individuals here today and they
have made an incredible contribution to the College during their years of
service.”
Speaking
directly to the retiring employees, Dr. Marchiori added: “You should all know
that you made a tremendous difference at Palmer. Please promise that you won’t
be strangers. You’re welcome here at any time.”
