Chiropractic students raise money for Juan Diez Rancheros during n8k Race

The n8k Race is a
five-mile run and two-mile fun run/walk hosted by Student Council and held on
Palmer's Davenport Campus. This year, 148 participants gathered on May 21 to run
the course, raising $3,005 for this year's selected cause, Juan Diez Rancheros,
a horse therapy program based in Davenport.
The overall 8k male winners were:
• Andrew McGuire (Palmer
student), 1st place, 25:04
• Zach Shiels (Palmer
student), 2nd place, 27:35
• Clint Grover (Palmer
alumnus), 3rd place, 29:23
The overall 8k female winners were:
• Hollie Vandenberg
(Palmer student), 1st place, 34:54
• Mara Russell
(Palmer student), 2nd place, 38:28,
• Megan
Veldhuizen (student wife), 3rd place, 39:06
