Davenport Campus graduation held June 17

Palmer’s Davenport Campus held commencement ceremonies at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 17, in Vickie Anne Palmer Hall auditorium. There were 115 graduates, with 110 earning Doctor of Chiropractic degrees, three earning Associate of Science in Chiropractic Technology degrees and two earning Master of Science in anatomy degrees. New doctors Eromata and Princely Ebwe

The commencement speaker was Henry Brockington III, M.S., D.C., a physiology/biochemistry professor who retired from the Davenport Campus on June 17 after 33 years of service. The Honors Convocation speaker was Phil Paone, D.C., a diagnosis professor who retired from the Davenport Campus on June 17 after 37 years at Palmer.

The co-valedictorians were Andrea Schafer, Chilton, Wis., Christian Stack, Buffalo, N.Y., and Nicholas Uhler, Wexford, Pa. The salutatorian was Bethany Forsyth, Readlyn, Iowa. The Virgil V. Strang Philosophy Award was presented to Princely Ebwe, Cameroon, West Africa, and the Clinical Excellence Award winner was Lindsay Sapp, New Waterford, Ohio.
