Position Title: Assistant Director of Research

Description of Responsibilities: The Assistant Director is responsible for the daily operations of the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research, implementing the PCCR strategic plan, developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing the budget including overall responsibility for pre and post award grants management activities, and supervising key support staff. The individual in this position will provide overall financial administration of the PCCR, Davenport Campus including developing, managing, evaluating, and implementing budgetary policies, procedures and protocols; and develop, implement and maintain oversight of research compliance.

Position Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree preferred; strong accounting background required; five years of administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience required. Experience in grants administration preferred.

Description of Responsibilities: The Vice Chancellor for Institutional Effectiveness provides leadership and management skills necessary to ensure the development, implementation and maintenance of a meaningful strategic planning effort, institutional and programmatic accreditation, and assessment and institutional analysis for the College. In addition, this position directs the development, administration and evaluation of academic support functions such as the Center for Teaching and Learning, Library, and Continuing Education.

Position Qualifications Required: Masters degree in Higher Education Administration or equivalent level of academic accomplishment required; ten years of demonstrable successful related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must demonstrate a substantial understanding of higher education, planning and accreditation; must demonstrate strong supervisory skills. A background in chiropractic education preferred.

Description of Responsibilities: The Provost, as the College’s Chief Academic Officer, has ultimate responsibility for the character, discipline, development and leadership of the academic programs and clinical care on all campuses. This individual is expected to provide academic and administrative leadership to achieve high standards of excellence in instruction; curriculum development; and clinical care. Further, this person is responsible for faculty evaluation and hiring, development of faculty work rules, academic policies, committee structure, and College planning relative to the chiropractic program.

Position Qualifications Required: A first professional degree in health discipline or graduate degree in education is required. Ten years of administrative experience in higher education is required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must demonstrate a substantial understanding of higher education, clinical care and strategic planning; must demonstrate strong supervisory skills. Administrative experience with a chiropractic program is preferred.
