These individual sessions cover post-graduate options, how to select a practice location, setting goals, developing a business plan and preparing your practice financials. They also include other issues that a D.C. student needs to know before graduating. Coaching is available to students in 8th through 10th trimester.

Our Coach

Dr. Mary Frost 

 Mary Frost, D.C., DAASP graduated from Palmer in 1996. After graduation, she moved to Arizona and was in private practice with her husband in Arizona for 11 years. After selling the practice, she and her family returned to Davenport, IA.

Dr. Frost is an Assistant Professor in the Philosophy and Practice Management Department. She currently teaches Healthcare Marketing, Financial Management, Practice Management, Regulatory Issues and Planning for Success. Previously she was a part-time faculty clinician in the Palmer Community Clinics.

Dr. Frost enjoys her role as instructor and business coach for Palmer’s students and alumni. She has twice been awarded Faculty of the Year by the students of Palmer College. Since accepting her position at Palmer, she has been an invited speaker at Palmer Homecomings on all three campuses and community events.  She has been both a presenter and workshop panelist at ACC RAC. Recently, she added published author to her accomplishments.

Currently she is available for individual coaching sessions and you will find her office in The Palmer Center for Business Development.
