International Chiropractors Association Auxiliary (ICAA)

The ICAA is a group of spouses and significant others of Palmer students that meets monthly. Its goals are to educate student partners about chiropractic, award yearly scholarship(s) to a Palmer SICA member(s), to be a support group for both the partners and students and to make the Palmer experience a positive one. The organization is self-supported through various fund raisers, such as bake sales, chili suppers, raffles and member-contributed cookbooks.

Palmer Student Alumni Foundation (PSAF)

The Palmer Student Alumni Foundation (PSAF) is the liaison between the Palmer College of Chiropractic student body and the Palmer alumni. The mission of PSAF is to promote a strong professional spirit among students through bridging the communications between students and alumni. In addition, PSAF will provide students with avenues for personal and professional growth and development to become successful doctors. PSAF does not have a membership fee but is all inclusive of the student body.

Student American Black Chiropractic Association (SABCA)

Student American Black Chiropractic Association (SABCA), formerly known as the Harvey Lillard Society, was established in memory of the first chiropractic patient. Its purpose is to aid in the recruitment of African Americans and other minorities into the chiropractic profession and promote the expansion of chiropractic as a healthcare system. Current projects include activities during Black History Month, articles in the Beacon and volunteer opportunities with local churches and community groups. Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA) Sports Council

The SACA Sports Council provides seminars, teaches spinal and extremity evaluation and participates in on-field activities. Providing information on the latest research and technology in the field of sports chiropractic, the organization is committed to preparing its members to serve the athlete in strength training, peak performance, rehabilitation and nutrition. The Council's faculty adviser is Dr. Dave Juehring, who also serves as a remote coach for the U.S. National Bobsled team.

Student ACA (SACA)

This mission of the Student American Chiropractic Association is to enhance the chiropractic profession by expanding the active membership and student involvement in the American Chiropractic Association and the chiropractic profession as a whole. This task is accomplished by promoting student awareness regarding the climate of the profession that awaits them. In addition, students are provided with opportunities to implement the tools and proven practice methods in an effort to improve the profession and cultivate effective leaders to advance chiropractic into the future.

Student International Chiropractors Association (SICA)

The International Chiropractors Association (ICA) was established in 1926 by B.J. Palmer and today represents more than 9,000 practitioners, educators, students and lay persons in the United States and worldwide. On campus, SICA helps promote the parent organization through first trimester welcome parties, membership drives, guest speakers and "technique speak," a forum for chiropractic technique clubs to educate students.

Florida Campus Professional Associations

The Student American Black Chiropractic Association (SABCA), formerly known as the Harvey Lillard Society, was established in memory of the first chiropractic patient. The ABCA awards scholarships annually through the Harvey Lillard Scholarship program and hosts an annual chiropractic career fair to encourage young African-American students to consider a career as a chiropractor.

Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA)

The American Chiropractic Association is a professional organization representing Doctors of Chiropractic. Its mission is to preserve, protect, improve and promote the chiropractic profession and the services of Doctors of Chiropractic for the benefit of the patients they serve. The purpose of the ACA is to provide leadership in health care and a positive vision for the chiropractic profession and its natural approach to health and wellness. Student membership is available for a one-time fee of $30.

Student Christian Chiropractors Association

The student chapter of the Christian Chiropractors Association helps student members maintain and nourish their spiritual and Biblical priorities. This is considered paramount in view of the pressures of the academic disciplines, which may exhaust their spiritual, physical and emotional resources.

Women Student Chiropractors Alliance

The WSCA encourages girls and women to enter the chiropractic profession and creates a network with other professional women around the country.

World Congress of Chiropractic Students

The WCCS is an international forum representing the future of the chiropractic profession. Active membership represents 22 affiliated colleges with a total membership of more than 19,000 chiropractic students. The WCCS meets annually to discuss issues that are important to the chiropractic profession and students’ future ability to practice chiropractic. The Congress’ objectives are to unify the chiropractic profession from within, unify the health care community in the interest of contributing to world health and well being, and promote the exchange of ideas at the student level.

West Campus Professional Associations

Palmer Academic Society (PAS)

PAS representatives represent their quarter and are involved in reviewing and making corrections and improvements to PAS notes. PAS notes are produced by Palmer's West Campus students as a supplemental study tool. PAS representatives also share valuable ideas on how to improve the Palmer Academic Society's ability to serve. After serving as a PAS rep. for two quarters, the student will be eligible to run for elected officer positions.

Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA)

The American Chiropractic Association is a national, non-profit, professional membership organization which acts as a spokesman for the profession. The primary objectives of the association is to establish and maintain the standards of ethics, professional competency, and keeping up with the expectations of today's society as one of the largest health disciplines in the world. Students involved in the ACA promote the profession and fight for chiropractors' rights as a primary care physician.

Student California Chiropractic Association (SCCA)

Founded in 1928, the California Chiropractic Association (CCA) is a non-profit, professional organization of Doctors of Chiropractic throughout California. The purpose of the CCA is to enhance the general welfare, professionalism and unity of chiropractic in the State of California so as to provide its citizens with both high quality and freedom of choice in health care. As a student chapter on the West Campus, SCCA encourages students to get involved in California legislation regarding the chiropractic domain and patients' rights.

Student ACA Sports Council

Founded in 1994, the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA) Sports Council on Palmer's West Campus is one of the most nationally recognized sports councils. The Sports Council provide seminars, host guest speakers, workshops, and on-field care. They provide a valuable, hand-on experience for students interested in Sports Chiropractic. Women of Chiropractic

The Women of Chiropractic club was formed to promote women in the chiropractic profession. It also focuses on women's health, empowerment, and community outreach.
