Kelan Ritchie is dedicated to chiropractic and student success at Palmer College. He is a native of Rock Island, Ill., joining the Admissions Department in 1996. "I have been at Palmer College long enough to understand the school’s true responsibility," he said. "We have a responsibility to this profession. Our commitment to chiropractic lies in the knowledge that each and every graduate of Palmer College is among the best chiropractors in the world. We have a responsibility to our students. Most importantly, we have a responsibility to the patient." Kelan holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Augustana College.

Kelan's territory includes Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Ellen Bassler

Ellen Bassler was born and raised in the Midwest and takes great delight in promoting chiropractic to everyone she meets. She has a passion and energy for the profession that is so contagious her own son, Christopher, has caught the vision and is pursuing his chiropractic education at Palmer!

Anthony Schumacher was thrilled to join the Admissions staff of the best chiropractic college in the world.

"My goal is to assist both domestic and international students in obtaining their dream of becoming a chiropractor. The curriculum at Palmer really prepares students to make a difference in the communities they serve." Representative Anthony Schumacher graduated from Loras College with a bachelor's degree in both Marketing and Business Management.

He joined the Palmer staff in June 2007, and his territory covers California, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Washington, D.C., and all countries outside the United States.

Kaitlin Smith is a Quad-City native who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish – Business and Translation with a minor in Communications from Northern Illinois University. She joined the Palmer College of Chiropractic Admissions staff in June 2008.

“The excitement here at Palmer College, combined with the fact that Palmer is The Fountainhead of chiropractic, makes my job easy,” she says. Kaitlin looks forward to helping students along their journey, because she believes in the importance of receiving the best chiropractic education in the world.

Kylie is a Quad-City native who graduated from the University of Dubuque with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and psychology. She joined the Palmer Admissions team in April 2009. Her territory includes Illinois, Missouri, Pennsylvania, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Virginia and West Virginia.

In her role as lead Admissions Representative at Palmer’s West Campus, Teresa contacts prospective students, discusses their educational goals and plans, and outlines how the Palmer program is the best choice to meet those goals. She is their primary contact as they take the necessary steps from application to Orientation.

“Among the things I enjoy most about working at Palmer is the one-on-one contact and helping the students in any way that I can,” said Teresa, a San Jose native. “I am also very fortunate to work with a great team!”

Prior to joining the Admissions Department at Palmer College, Arthur worked as an Admissions Representative for a private for-profit institution, as well as in the career services department for a local medical college.

“I am excited to be part of the Palmer family and look forward to being an integral part of the Admissions Department here at Palmer,” says Arthur.

As a native of Central California residing in San Jose for the past eight years, Arthur looks forward to meeting with prospective students knowing that Palmer is the leader in the chiropractic community.

Bill Riley
As the son of a chiropractor, Bill Riley brings a unique perspective to his role as Admissions Representative at Palmer College's West Campus.

"I grew up a 'chiropractic kid,'" says Bill, a California native. "With that background, I really understand the profession and am happy to support it in my professional life."

Bill has worked in the admissions field for more than a dozen years, including prior experience at another chiropractic college. And he's happy to share his experience and respect for the chiropractic profession in his Admissions position.

"I love this job for the ability to help people, both those who decided to become chiropractic doctors and those who will benefit from their care," says Bill.

Kourtney Lewis 

Kourtney Lewis, Admissions Representative, was born in Tallahassee, Florida, and attended Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. She is honored to be part of Palmer - the first and largest chiropractic college in the world. “I am committed to assisting students in turning their dreams of becoming a chiropractor into a reality; as well as increasing the world’s knowledge of the benefits of chiropractic care.” Kourtney has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and believes “if you can change the life of one, you have affected the lives of many.”

Vicky Peppin, Admissions Representative, Florida Campus 

Vicky Peppin, Admissions Representative, was born in Cuba, and her family migrated to New York where she attended school in Brooklyn. For the past 17 years, she has called Florida home, with her husband and four children. Vicky enjoys her role as an Admissions Representative because it affords her the ability to work with students to discuss their educational goals and help them as they journey to become a Palmer Doctor of Chiropractic. “Palmer offers the best integrated learning program,” Vicky says. “I am very excited to be part of the Palmer family.”

Vicky’s territory includes Florida and the Virgin Islands.

Fernando Muñoz 

Fernando Muñoz, Admissions Representative, was born in the Dominican Republic and has called Florida home for the last 15 years. He enjoys meeting and guiding prospective students and has worked in college admissions in South Floridafor nearly a decade. He has worked in hospitality, as well. "I am very excited to be part of the Palmer family and about being an integral part of the Admissions department," says Fernando.

Fernando works with prospective students from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana,  Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota,  Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C.,  Washington, and Wyoming. He also works with students from Bahamas and all other counties outside the United States.
