Both the Davenport Campus and Florida Campus have formed partnerships with colleges in their community so that students can easily complete their prerequisites, often at in-state community college tuition rates.

Davenport Campus: Joint Admission Program

Scott Community College and Palmer College of Chiropractic Joint Admission Program

Scott Community College in Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa, is part of the Eastern Iowa Community College District. If you need a convenient, cost-effective way to complete your prerequisite requirements for the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Palmer, Scott Community College (SCC) should be your first stop before heading to Palmer College of Chiropractic.

SCC offers a real advantage, with classes designed specifically for future Palmer College students. The two colleges have had a cooperative agreement since 1979. This collaboration has allowed each institution to focus on their academic specialties—such as science prerequisites for Palmer’s Doctor of Chiropractic degree program at SCC and the excellent chiropractic curriculum at Palmer—resulting in a more beneficial educational package for the chiropractic student, from prerequisites to graduation.

Scott Community College Offers Future Palmer Students:
  • Accelerated Science Courses
  • Associate Degree Program
  • Classes held at SCC or on Palmer's campus
  • Convenient online courses
  • Joint Admission Program
Increased support, Decreased Expense

The Joint Admission Program has the student’s financial concerns in mind. SCC has agreed to provide courses to qualified students at in-state tuition rates for all Joint Admission Program students.
