Davenport Campus Only
No college credit is required for acceptance into the Associate of Science in Chiropractic Technology (A.S.C.T.) degree program. Admission is based on GED scores or high school grades. College credit is looked at for transfer credit and test-out opportunities, as well as to meet any admissions requirements not met at the high school level.
- High School Diploma with Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0/4.0 scale or better (“C” average)
- At least one year at the high school level of English Composition, Math, and General Science with at least a grade of “C”
- Or GED Certificate with Passing Overall Score
College grades may be substituted as follows: one semester college for one year high school for individual subject GPA requirements; a minimum of 12 college credits (100 level or above) taken in one semester for the overall GPA requirement.
Additionally, students entering the A.S.C.T. program must have taken a biology course at the high school or college level within the last five years and received at least a “C” or better. Those who have not will be placed in Fundamentals of Human Biology, a one credit, pass/fail course that they will take along with the rest of their first trimester courses. This requirement does not affect their ability to be accepted.
