Research Honors Subcommittee Members
The Research Honors Subcommittee reviews all
Student Project and Research Honors Applications. The committee includes the
following members:
- Maria Hondras, D.C., MPH - PCCR faculty members from Davenport Campus
- William Reed, D.C., Ph.D. - PCCR faculty members from Davenport Campus
- Liang Zhang, Ph.D. - Research Director from Florida Campus
- Robert Cooperstein, M.A., D.C. - Research Director from West Campus
- Julie Lorence, D.C. - Second-year Clinical Research Fellow
The committee makes the following recommendations
to the Research Council based on their assessment criteria.
Student Project Applications
- Recommend acceptance
- Recommend denial
Research Honors Applications
- Recommend Honors award
- Recommend Honors award after acceptable revisions of deliverable
- Recommend denial of Honors award
Research Council Members
The Research Council consists of all Research
faculty and administrators and selected professional staff members of the Palmer
Center for Chiropractic Research from all three Palmer campuses will review the
recommendations from the Research Honors Subcommittee. The Council develops
policy on research, reviews and approves internally and externally-sponsored
research projects, proposals and awards, and develops the Palmer research
agenda.
The Research Council will review the
recommendations from the Research Honors Subcommittee. Based on those
recommendations, the Council will:
- Accept or Deny the Student Project Application
- Award or Deny Research Honors
