Palmer’s research clinic encompasses approximately 2,700 square feet and is
located on the first floor of the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research
building on the Davenport campus. The reception area and staff workspace provide
room for patient seating and coordination of activity, including data
collection, in our clinical research trials. Clinical evaluations occur in a
suite of two consultation and two examination rooms. Each consultation room is
equipped with a desk, chairs and computer for immediate data entry. The
examination rooms are well equipped with chairs, examination tables,
instruments, and all necessary supplies. Treatment occurs in one of the five
treatment rooms, which are equipped with the appropriate equipment for study
related care. The research clinic contains an x-ray suite, equipped for both
plain film and digital imaging, five offices for study personnel, storage space,
two handicapped accessible restrooms and hallways. The Research Clinic also
shares the first floor with the Clinical Biomechanics Laboratory.
