At Palmer, you’ll question, explore and do research in a challenging, supportive, academic environment, featuring a 15-to-1 or lower student-to-faculty ratio. Our faculty are accomplished researchers, many have written the textbooks for chiropractic students at Palmer College and chiropractic students around the world.

The chiropractic curriculum at Palmer includes extensive coursework in the basic sciences, chiropractic technique, chiropractic philosophy and business management. These courses lead to the last year of study when students work in a public clinic under the supervision of a doctor and actively care for patients.

The Doctor of Chiropractic curriculum focuses on the 14 areas of clinical competency required by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE), plus six additional areas identified and defined by Palmer. These competencies present our vision of the specific abilities, knowledge, skills and attitudes that will be demonstrated by all Palmer graduates.
