Special Interest Groups and Clubs
Whatever your interest in life may be, it's likely you'll find a group of like-minded students have started a club for it. And if they haven't, you can start your own through Student Services.
In addition to chiropractic topic and technique clubs, there are a number of special interest groups and clubs on the Palmer campuses. Contact the Student Services Department on your campus for more information on any of the clubs listed here or to start a new club.

Veterans Association

Established in 1947, the Veterans Association was organized primarily as a community service opportunity for any Palmer student who is a veteran to work at the Davenport Campus' on-campus canteen to raise funds for donations to both chiropractic and veterans charities.

Toastmasters Club 

Enhancing communications and public speaking skills is the main purpose of this club. The group also encourages leadership and community roles, and invites outside speakers to present information as well as encouraging members to speak in the community. Establishing these necessary skills is conducive to a successful chiropractic practice.

Canadian Club
Farmer's Market CSA Program

The Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program was organized to support local organic farmers by purchasing fruits and vegetables from them. Each quarter, students sign up to receive seven weeks worth of produce which is delivered to them weekly.

Integrative Medicine Club
Leading Ladies of Chiropractic
Neurology Club

The goals of the Neurology Club are to provide increased opportunities to hone the skill sets required to perform neurologic and orthopedic tests. Both local practitioners and professors are invited to attend weekly meetings, providing small group open forum discussions and clinical case findings in a non-threatening, collegial environment.

Palmer Academic Society (PAS)

PAS representatives represent their quarter and are involved in reviewing and making corrections and improvements to PAS notes. PAS notes are produced by West Campus students as a supplemental study tool. PAS representatives also share valuable ideas on how to improve the Palmer Academic Society's ability to serve. After serving as a PAS representative for two quarters, the student will be eligible to run for elected officer positions.

Pediatrics Club

The Pediatrics Club was created to provide extracurricular experience to students interested in health and wellness for the pediatric, pregnant and family populations. In addition, the club invites chiropractors on campus to speak on pediatric chiropractic. 

Philosophy Club

The Philosophy Club establishes and maintains a positive focus on chiropractic and its principles of philosophy for the future Doctors of Chiropractic. They hold Oxford-style debates with thought-provoking speakers.
