Lecture Study Strategy Sessions
Small or large group lecture study strategy sessions are available at least once a week for courses in the 1-3 and 5th trimester curriculum that have proved to be most challenging for students. P.A.S.S. study sessions are lead by successful upper trimester students who review important course material and offer mock exams and quiz questions to help you prepare for testing situations. You may find P.A.S.S. study strategy sessions helpful in a number of ways, and even more so if you familiarize yourself with the P.A.S.S. w3 Intranet site. Information on session times, locations and study leaders are posted on the P.A.S.S. program notice board located inside the Study Resource Center (formerly CSLD) on the first floor of the Student Union.
Lab Study Strategy Sessions
Weekly lab study strategy sessions are designed to give you an additional opportunity to view lab materials with the help of a successful upper trimester student as your guide. Before practicals your lab study leader will offer review sessions and may offer a mock practical exam to help you conquer your nerves and achieve your best success in lab. Your lab study leader may post diagrams or charts on the P.A.S.S. Intranet site. To provide you the best experience possible, lab attendance is limited to 10 or 15 students per session and you must sign-up in advance (unlimited seating for lecture review). The Lab Study Session Registration Form allows you to sign up for your preferred lab study section weekly. Registration runs from Monday morning through noon on Thursday or until each section is filled. The final confirmed pre-registration list for each lab study session can be viewed online.
