Lecture Tutorials

Small or large group lecture tutorials are available at least once a week for courses in the 1-3 and 5th trimester curriculum that have proved to be most challenging for students. PASS tutorials are lead by successful upper trimester students who review important course material and offer mock exams and quiz questions to help you prepare for testing situations. Tutorials are not just for students who are struggling. You may find tutorials helpful in a number of ways, and even more so if you familiarize yourself with the PASS w3 Intranet site. Information on times, locations and tutors are posted on the PASS program notice board located inside the Study Resource Center (formerly CSLD) on the first floor of the Student Union.

Lab Tutorials

Weekly lab tutorials are designed to give you an additional opportunity to view lab materials with the help of a successful upper trimester student as your guide. Before practicals your lab tutor will offer review sessions and may offer a mock practical exam to help you conquer your nerves and achieve your best success in lab. Your tutor may post diagrams or charts on the PASS Intranet site. To provide you the best experience possible, lab attendance is limited to 10 or 15 students per session and you must sign-up in advance (unlimited seating for lecture review). The Lab Tutorial Registration Form allows you to sign up for your preferred section of lab tutorial weekly. Registration runs from Monday morning through noon on Friday or until each section is filled. The final printed list for lab tutorial will be posted outside W128A, in the Study Resource Center adjacent to the Student Union and online.

Please request Florida and West Campus tutorial info from Lori Newman, Ph.D. as she has contact with the Support Services staff on the other campuses.
