Directory of Information Resources Online is the National Library of Medicine's online database containing location and descriptive information about a wide variety of information resources including organizations, research resources, projects, and databases concerned with health and biomedicine.

This database provides more than 550 scholarly full-text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Coverage of nursing and allied health is particularly strong. In addition, it features the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide, which covers 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets with more than 4,700 brand names.
History of Medicine Online

HSRProj is a database providing access to ongoing grants and descriptions of research in progress funded by federal and private grants and contracts for use by policy makers, managers, clinicians and other decision makers.
IndexCat is the user interface that provides access to three major collections, the largest being the digitized version of the printed Index-Catalogue of the Library of the Surgeon General's Office (MEDLINE from antiquity to 1950).
ICL - Index to Chiropractic Literature
ICL is the only exclusively chiropractic journal literature index free on the Web. The database currently covers 1985-present chiropractic journal literature. It includes several web pages linking free chiropractic research articles, electronic books and patient education handouts. Links to other important chiropractic web sites are also included.
Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (EBSCOhost)
Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA) indexes more than 560 core journals, more than 50 priority journals, and 125 selective journals; plus books, research reports and proceedings. Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s.
Manual, Alternative and Natural Therapy, Index, System (MANTIS) is an index that selectively provides coverage for complementary and alternative health care based journal articles. The database also provides current chiropractic news, various clinical care topics and reviews along with some links to full text articles in the database.
MasterFILE Premier (EBSCOhost)

POPLINE: Population Information Online
POPLINE is the world's largest bibliographic database on population, family planning, and related health issues. Many documents are unique to the collection and are unavailable elsewhere. Most documents published after 2000 contain links to full-text. POPLINE contains 345,000+ records. The majority of items are published from 1970 to the present, however, there are selected citations dating back to 1827.

ProQuest Psychology Journals
ProQuest Psychology Journals provide abstracts and indexing for more than 640 titles, with over 540 titles available with full text access. Coverage ranges from behavioral, clinical, cognitive, developmental, experimental, industrial and social psychology, along with personality, psychobiology and psychometrics.
"PsycARTICLES is a database of full-text articles from journals published by the American Psychological Association, the APA Educational Publishing Foundation, the Canadian Psychological Association, and Hogrefe & Huber. The database includes 111 full-text publications, most of which give access to volume 1, number 1 of the journal title.
PubMed comprises over 22 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. PubMed citations and abstracts include the fields of biomedicine and health, covering portions of the life sciences, behavioral sciences, chemical sciences, and bioengineering. PubMed also provides access to additional relevant web sites and links to the other NCBI molecular biology resources. PubMed is a free resource that is developed and maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), located at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

ScienceDirect is a leading STM database offering indexing to Elsevier publishing company journal articles and book chapters from more than 2,500 peer-reviewed journals and more than 11,000 books. Palmer College of Chiropractic Libraries currently has access to 59 of the journal titles. A green tablet beside the article indicates access is available for the library.
Small Business Reference Center (EBSCOhost)
The Small Business Reference Center provides up to date information on relevant topics from starting a company, operations management and sales to growing or rescuing a business. The database contains nearly 400 full-text periodicals and over 450 full-text reference books. Business videos provide critical information for business owners: interviews, ‘lessons learned’ features, lectures and ‘how to’ videos help foster success in all aspects of managing a business. A collection of state-specific resources supports the researcher with demographic data and other local information.
SpringerLink is an integrated full-text database for journals, books, protocols, eReferences, and book series published by Springer. Springer is a prominent international scientific publishing company. Palmer College of Chiropractic Libraries currenly has access to 1750 SpringerLink journals. On the search page, if you want to see only content available to Palmer, uncheck the yellow box "include preview only content" and only the the content available through Palmer will display.
SPORTDiscus with Full Text is a comprehensive source of indexed and full text sports & sports medicine journals, providing full text for more than 550 journals. This resource contains full text for many of the most used journals in the index - with no embargo, dating back to 1985.
