Faculty Clinician

Responsibilities
The role of the clinician is to provide high quality evidence-based patient care while mentoring students to be successful doctors of chiropractic. The clinician is responsible for monitoring and assessing students’ performance in the clinic environment, including patient evaluation, patient management, record keeping and professional behavior. Other duties include direct teaching responsibilities; review student qualitative and quantitative requirements needed for the Clinic courses and for graduation; develop and maintain a clinical practice.

Requirements
Qualified applicants must possess a Doctor of Chiropractic degree; a current/active Iowa for practice at time of hire, able to obtain an Illinois license within 3 months of hire, and be eligible to participate in the treatment of Federal Entitlement (example: Medicare) programs.

Technical Library Assistant

Clinic Staff Supervisor

Responsibilities
The Director of Clinic Business is responsible for the efficient staffing, computer applications and upkeep, financial reporting in regards to patient billing, collection and reporting of all Palmer Clinics and Clinic Departments. This position develops and manages clinic business operations including clinic information systems, student services, staff and personnel management; conduct various analysis and evaluations of clinic business and financial matters. The Director manages all aspects of subordinate personnel including scheduling, hiring, training and performance management; administers clinics business office policies and procedures. Additionally, manages collection services; reconciles accounts receivable in coordination with the Business Office, serve on appointed committees, task forces, and other teams.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Health Sciences or related field; Master’s degree preferred; Three to five years related experience and/or training, with supervisory experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word; and familiarity with Electronic Patient Records systems. Strong customer service skills and orientation preferred.
