Lead Compliance Coordinator

Laboratory Animal Technician

Responsibilities
Under general supervision independently provides care for all laboratory animals in accordance with federal, state, local and college regulations. Duties include, assures strict cleanliness standards are maintained within the animal facility; provide food, water and enrichment to all animals; keeps appropriate records; processes incoming food, bedding and animals; ensures SOP compliance; and cleans and disinfects animal enclosures.

Requirements
Associate’s degree in animal husbandry or veterinary technician or related program is required and at least 1 year of animal care experience. “Associate technician” or “technician” certification from The American Association of Laboratory Animal Science is preferred. Good oral and written communication skills and a valid state or commercial driver’s license is required. Must successfully pass a background check.

Senior Director of Clinic Business

Academic Counselor/Disability Coordinator

Responsibilities
The Academic Counselor/ Disability Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the delivery of individual and small group support services for Palmer students relative to educational and curricular issues. In compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), this position coordinates services for students with documented disabilities. This position also advises students on college academic policies and works collaboratively with faculty members to support the goals and objectives of the learning environment. This position will also serve as Campus Bursar. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, and staff. Superior written and verbal communication skills; ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in psychology, communications, or education; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of three years of experience in Student Affairs/Student Services with a preference for those applicants who have experience coordinating disability services in an education and/or clinical setting.
