The Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics (DICCP) is a board-certified specialty in chiropractic
developed and established by the Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics of the International Chiropractors Association
in 1993. The DICCP was officially recognized by the ACA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics in 2008.
The course is broad-based but comprehensive. There are 30 modules (360+ hours) taught over a three-year
period. The curriculum is structured and balances academic knowledge with clinical applications. Practical
workshops, observation/training at a Children's Center for Special Needs Children, research writing and oral
presentation of a professional paper are part of the curriculum and mandatory. The goal of the DICCP program
is to ensure that by the time the D.C. completes the full course, he/she has the knowledge, competency and
skills expected of a health care provider with post-graduate education in chiropractic pediatrics.

Important Notice: If there are less than 15 doctors registered by the registration deadline for any one site, the ICA Pediatrics Council reserves the right to cancel the program at that location with no obligation to reimburse anyone who may have made travel arrangements in advance. However, the Council will refund 100 percent of all tuition paid. It is therefore important that doctors intending to take this program sign-up before the deadline.
Who may register?
Doctors of Chiropractic who have graduated from a CCE-accredited college may enroll in this program. Chiropractic students in their 10th trimester or final quarter may also register, but they must have their D.C. degree before Module 9. They cannot continue the program if they do not have their D.C. degree, but will be given credit for the modules they have taken if they decide to continue after they graduate. Final tri/quarter students will have to provide proof from the registrar of their college as to their status before they can register.
Can anyone attend?
No, this is a post-graduate program and the modules are not stand alone seminars but inter-related with structured syllabi and therefore not meant for D.C.s seeking to attend a weekend module just for CE credits. Only doctors registered for the complete course may attend, or DICCPs.
