Post-graduate preceptor program

An Optional, Off-Campus Clinical Education Program

The Post-graduate preceptor program provides an opportunity for Palmer D.C. graduates to work in a chiropractic practice while waiting to attain state licensure. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed chiropractor. The program provides you an opportunity to continue to enhance your clinical training and gain insight into the daily management of a practice.Palmer graduates may participate in the program for up to one year following graduation or until a state license is attained. The length of time allowed may vary depending on state regulations.

Palmer College does not consider you a student while enrolled in this program.

Depending on the location of the preceptorship and its state regulations, you may perform a variety of patient care procedures under the direct supervision of the licensed chiropractor.

Due to state regulations, this opportunity is not available in all states.
