The Yellow Ribbon G.I. Education Enhancement Program makes it possible for eligible U.S. veterans enrolled or about to enroll at any of Palmer’s three campuses to have up to 100-percent of their out-of-pocket tuition and fees associated with education programs covered for a one-year period.
- Must have at least 90 days of collective service on or after Sept. 11, 2001
- Or be honorably discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days.
- First come, first served
- Those accepted will have their tuition costs covered for one year
- Palmer has made a commitment to participate in the program at the highest possible
discount to students.
As a provision of the bill, the Yellow Ribbon Program allows U.S. degree-granting institutions to enter into an agreement with the VA to fund tuition expenses that exceed the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition rate. Each participating institution can contribute up to 50 percent of those expenses and the VA will match the same amount as the institution

Other ways we support veterans
The Yellow Ribbon Program is one of several ways Palmer College supports U.S. veterans and military personnel. Active-duty military personnel, qualified veterans and their families are given free chiropractic care at Palmer clinics.
Palmer also provides its senior-level interns an opportunity to work with staff chiropractors in Department of Defense or Veterans Affairs hospitals.
