Top attractions in the Quad Cities include the annual John Deere Classic PGA tour event, the Quad City Air Show, the world-famous Bix 7 Road Race, numerous professional sports teams, water sports on the Mississippi River, golf, 80 local parks and forest preserves, 60 miles of bike trails, shopping, and several theaters and museums.
Students live near campus in neighborhoods with an abundance of affordable apartments, as well as duplexes and houses to rent or buy. The Student Services Department offers maps and other housing guides to help you find housing.

include professional associations, technique clubs, student government, the student newspaper and intramural sports such as ice hockey, basketball, softball, flag football, volleyball and rugby.
Located 50 miles south of San Francisco, San Jose is regarded as the capital of Silicon Valley. Near the Pacific Ocean and surrounding mountains, the area offers a wide variety of activities from hiking and biking to visiting wineries, museums, an observatory, gardens and parks. Sports fans will also enjoy the Bay Area's professional sports teams, including the San Jose Sharks professional ice hockey team, the Oakland Athletics and the San Francisco 49ers.
At Palmer's San Jose, Calif., Campus student housing is not an on campus amenity at this time, but the Admissions Department maintains a Housing Office that provides friendly, personal service and produces a variety of publications and other resources designed to help students locate housing opportunities near campus.
Students develop special talents and interests by participating in chiropractic technique clubs, the student newspaper, the Philosophy Club, which holds debates and sponsors speakers, the Yoga Club, and intramural sports and recreational activities, including flag football, basketball, softball, golf and soccer.
Port Orange, a city of more than 50,000 people, is located only a few minutes from the world-famous shores of Daytona Beach. Daytona Beach is home to Daytona USA and the Daytona International Speedway, as well as professional sports teams such as the Daytona Cubs Class A baseball team. The attractions of Orlando, Fla., are about an hour's drive and include Walt Disney World, Sea World Orlando, Universal Studios and the Orlando Centroplex, a world-class entertainment venue that hosts the NBA's Orlando Magic and performing arts productions throughout the year.
While the Port Orange, Fla., Campus does not offer on-campus student housing, the Student Services Department maintains information regarding housing in the area and works with area apartment complexes to get the best accommodations for the best prices-a top priority for all students.
The Port Orange, Fla., Campus values athletics and recreation for healthful fun and team building. Sports activities include soccer, golf, surfing and intramural teams that range from volleyball and flag football to basketball and softball. The campus also sponsors clubs for students to learn and practice chiropractic techniques. Students may also join the Florida Chiropractic Association and benefit from its educational programs for free.
